Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organization (AERO) was established on March 2008, Registered as Charitable Trust vide Registration No. F-9150/20/10/2003 under Society Registration Act 1860 (Rule 21 of 1860 Act).

Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organization Scholarship -Common Entrance Test (AERO-CET) is aimed at extending financial support in the form of Scholarship to meritorious students for various technical  Aviation Programs. AERO–CET is aimed is providing a single platform for eligibility test as well as Scholarship for all students for various Aviation Courses offered by the enlisted Institutes of AERO- CET 2023. We are offering you an opportunity to earn merit based scholarships through AERO-CET. Scholarship is granted for the courses of enlisted Institutes in the form of direct credit to the said Institute for selected programs only. Candidates will be eligible for scholarship in subsequent year/ semester up on fulfilling the academic requirements as stated by the respective department/ Institute/ Regulatory Authorities/ University. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, (AME) is one of the most sought after program approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation Approved (DGCA) Program. This enables a student to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer after successful completion of the course.The duration of the course is Three years full time followed in- depth training in organizations of repute like Air India, Go First Airlines, etc. 

This course has two options of specialization Viz. Mechanical (B1.1) & Avionics (B2).About the Program & Available Specialization

a) Mechanical Stream
Maintenance related to Air Frame performing scheduled / Non-scheduled maintenance, making emergency repairs, maintenance related to air frame viz. mechanical and Aircraft hydraulic systems , Air Conditioning System, Aircraft Pressurization System, Aircraft Landing Gear System, Aircraft structure, Aircraft Pneumatic System, etc.
Maintenance related to Aircraft Engine, Aircraft Fuel System, Aircraft Oil System, Engine Starting & Ignition System, Fire Protection System, etc.
b) Avionics Stream
Performing Scheduled / Non scheduled maintenance related to the following:
Aircraft Instrument Systems.
Automatic Pilot Systems (fixed and rotary wings), including Auto-throttle and Auto-land Systems .
Aircraft Radio Communication, Navigation and Radar Systems.
Aircraft Electrical Power Generation and Distribution to Avionic Systems.
